More room.
More possibility.
Follow the request without losing your place. See what fills the context, create a picture, and explore an interactive answer. Locus 2.7 makes the workspace clearer and keeps the next update within reach.
Overview, when you need it
A compact summary appears near the top right during a request. Open an inspector and Overview makes room. Minimize it, dismiss it, or bring it back with ⌘1. The right toolbar has a clearer divider and a new order for Browser and Context.
Know what fills the context
A segmented bar, token counts, percentages, and expandable categories explain context usage. Reserved capacity, free space, and tools available on demand are distinct. Estimates and provider-managed totals are clearly identified.
Pictures. Edits. Interactive answers.
Generate or edit a picture with your chosen image API account, with approval for each call. Copy it, save it, or keep editing in chat. Interactive explanations run in an offline view and include a written summary for exports and mobile.
Dark from the first hello
New settings start in dark appearance. Existing theme choices stay as you set them. Getting Started offers document, coding, and recurring-agent paths, and remembers your progress when you come back.
A better look at what you made
Library previews add image zoom and pan, clearer document controls, sorting, and export actions. Outputs and Vault documents make saved versions easier to find. Private document previews stay in memory.
Keep moving. Stay up to date.
The direct-download app can check daily, download updates in the background, and install when you quit. Install 2.7 once if you’re on 2.6 or earlier, then manage automatic updates in Settings. Existing opt-outs remain in effect.
Work, Plan, Grill, Goal, Task Capsules, and team choices now share one workflow menu. File rows have larger click targets and clearer screen-reader labels. The bundled HTTP transport includes updated security fixes.
